The regular round table on qualitative research (StQF for short) takes place about once every two months in Graz. From November 2015 to June 2019, the regulars round table was also offered at AAU Klagenfurt.
The Stammtisch gathers a mixture of regular and spontaneous participants and offers the opportunity to exchange ideas about qualitative methods and research practice, to discuss your current projects with colleagues, to ask questions, to initiate interpretation groups, reading groups and workshops etc.
Accessibility notice: We are happy to offer support to make the Stammtisch accessible for all.
Next appointment: 13.1.2022, 2-4 PM, online.
The regulars' table is used for professional exchange in a friendly atmosphere. It is a low-threshold forum for discussions with peers about their own qualitative research projects, be it student research projects, seminar papers, master's theses, doctoral theses or essays. We give each other advice, report on our own problem-solving strategies or unresolved problems, ask questions, report on progress or standstills, etc. The participants work in a wide variety of disciplines and at different qualification levels. You are always welcome to bring you and your projects into the discussion. It will be discussed what is brought into the current session. The term Stammtisch emphasizes the low-threshold access and the opportunity to speak more openly about problems in research than is possible in most seminars and colloquiums.
The exact dates are coordinated via our mailing list and can be seen on the homepage under the link News.
We look forward to your ideas, questions and projects!
